T: 925.592.4501
As a pilot and a drummer, Jon understands the importance of rhythm and has been helping clients find their financial cadence in life for two decades. His main responsibility at Echo45 Advisors is to remain an accessible, proactive financial advisor to all the firm’s clients, providing them with the best possible service, guidance and support. As the firm’s owner and founder, he also is responsible for Echo45’s long-term vision while keeping an eye on daily operations.
Jon, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), specializes in personal financial planning, retirement planning and portfolio management, and with a BA in communications from San Diego State University, he enjoys educating clients about all aspects of their finances.
Jon has earned the Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets® from the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals and New York Institute of Finance. Increasingly, clients have questions about this emerging asset class, including how cryptocurrencies work. Gaining this certification better prepares Echo45 to educate clients around this exciting, yet rapidly evolving space.
A technology enthusiast and early adopter of new technologies, Jon actively embraces the high-tech world of wealth management, having been in the industry long enough to remember when stock quotes were stated in fractions. He harnesses today's robust FinTech offerings to enhance client experiences in meaningful ways.
Jon is a man of many interests. When he’s not working toward his instrument rating in his Cirrus SR20, he enjoys painting abstracts, investing in real estate, and playing tennis and golf. An avid gamer, Jon enjoys playing Overwatch when he can and has been a consistent fan of most Blizzard games over the years. Jon has been the drummer and sometime lead vocalist on six full-length recordings beginning in his college days. He married his wife, Monica, and experienced Asia for the first time on their honeymoon. Together they enjoy travel, from ambitious international trips to quick California weekends snowboarding in Tahoe; wine tasting in Napa; soaking up the sun in San Diego; flying into Pine Mountain Lake Airport (call sign E45), where the firm got its name. They recently left the downtown city life of San Francisco and moved to Walnut Creek to be closer to Echo45 Headquarters where they look forward having more space with their 85-pound English Bulldog, Gonzo (@gonzointhecity) – and daughter Emmie.
